Annette is the Director and Principal Clinician of Trikilis Counselling & Psychotherapy - Darwin EMDR Clinic & Trauma Centre. Annette is a Registered Clinical Counsellor & Psychotherapist with PACFA and EMDRAA Accredited Consultant.

Annette has over 15 years of clinical experience working with trauma, including in government organisations providing therapy for people who have experienced child and sexual abuse, acting as the team leader at SARC Darwin for 4 years, mental health rehab and school counselling.

Annette believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience the world in a way which is connected and meaningful. She provides high quality, professional counselling and therapeutic services and has a special interest in EMDR, play therapy and other trauma focused interventions.

Annette offers clinical supervision in a range of areas, with extensive experience in working with trauma.

Neta Henderson

Neta is passionate about working with clients to process trauma and distressing events. Neta is an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner (working towards becoming a consultant), and has completed training in Advanced EMDR Protocols (group treatment and recent events). Neta works with her clients to formulate through a trauma-informed lens, aiming to support clients with processing past events that contribute to their current symptoms, working towards long-term improvement in mental health.

Neta has undertaken training in a range of modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Schema Therapy and Imagery Rescripting for PTSD. Where helpful, Neta integrates elements of the above therapies into EMDR, which is her main therapeutic modality.

Jodi Smyth

Jodi is a Certified Practicing Counsellor/Psychotherapist with PACFA and is also a NDIS registered Behaviour Support Practitioner. She has completed training in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Process Oriented Psychology (POP) & Holistic Counselling and Psychotherapy. She also has a Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Trauma and Recovery Practice. 
Jodi always aims to support her clients in a way that is meaningful and relevant to each person and their goals. She is deeply passionate about working with people’s strengths and helping them to connect with their own inner wisdom and understandings as part of the therapeutic process. She likes to blend a variety of evidence based therapeutic modalities into her practice and works to assist her clients with developing new skills, strategies and techniques that can aid them in navigating and safely processing the challenges that they are facing.
Jodi has a special interest in trauma-informed interventions and believes that nature is a powerful resource that can be used to assist with healing and nervous system restoration.

Jade Hume

Jade is a Certified Practicing Counsellor/Psychotherapist with PACFA and has undertaken training in EMDR. She is currently working towards becoming an EMDRAA Accredited Practitioner. Jade is also currently undertaking further studies in a Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science (Advanced), and has completed training in Modern Attachment Theory and Play Therapy training, along with Trauma-Informed Neurodiversity training.

Jade is passionate about working with clients who have experienced trauma and helping them overcome this to lead fulfilling lives. She has 2 years’ experience working with victim-survivors of childhood sexual assault and adult sexual assault with SARC Darwin and believes that all clients deserve a voice and the opportunity to heal.

Jade has a passion for continued professional development in the areas of EMDR, Attachment Theory, Somatic Therapy and Polyvagal Theory and plans on undertaking and implementing these interventions to help walk alongside her clients in their healing journey.

Margi MacGregor

Margi enjoys working with organisations, teams and individuals to identify and achieve their professional and personal development goals. She uses a strengths-based, values-led style to foster psychological safety, relationship building, and opportunities for individual growth, and empowers clients to explore challenges with a solutions-focused mindset. Margi is trained in EMDR and is able to support clients with a range of mental health difficulties, including trauma. 

Margi has worked in the Territory for over 15 years with individual clients and organisations, prioritising inclusive cross-cultural practices and cultural safety.

Erica Lucas

Psychologist, BA(Psych), BPsych

Erica has over 11 years clinical experience, working primarily with clients in regional and remote areas. She aims to empower clients through strength-based, client directive approaches to help build strategies for long-term mental, emotional and social wellness. She has a friendly, non-clinical demeanour to help clients engage in the therapeutic process.

Erica enjoys working with adults and adolescents to address various mental health concerns including substance use issues (and other addiction), depression, anxiety, trauma (including complex PTSD), grief and loss, anger management and/or relationship difficulties. She has recently completed training in EMDR Therapy.

Erica also has a passion in helping those that help others, such as professionals/carers who may be vulnerable to vicarious trauma, burnout or other psychological injuries. She can also provide treatment to those requiring vocational rehabilitation.
